- The laborer Josefa Rochon, unmarried, identity verified, of Catholic religion, born on the nineteenth day of June, nineteen hundred and eighty-five (June 19, 1885) in Golkowko (Golkówko), district of Strasburg, residing in Strasburg, daughter of the laborer Josef Rochon, who died in America, and his wife Marianna, née Rutkowski, residing in Strasburg.

I, the local parish priest, baptized a male infant named Joannes (Jan/John), born to his parents Mathia (Maciej/Matthias) Grzywna, a lodger (a landless peasant living in another person’s household) aged 20, and Anna (née Szarmach) aged 22, his wife, legitimate spouses and Catholics, born on the eighth day of June of the current year at six o’clock in the evening in their house in the village of Artowice. Godparents were Martinus (Marcin/Martin) Szur and Gotliba Adamska, all from Artowice.

It took place in Zieluń on the twentieth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four [July 20, 1854] at eleven o’clock in the morning. There appeared Jan Łuziński, sixty-five years of age, and Franciszek Łuziński, twenty-seven years of age, both farmers residing in Ruda, and declared that yesterday at three o’clock in the morning died Małgorzata Łuzińska, residing on the farm in Ruda, fifty years of age, parents’ names and surname unknown, leaving behind her widowed husband Jan Łuziński. After eye-witness confirmation of the death of Łuzińska, this act was read to the declarants—of whom the first is the husband and the second the son of the deceased—and, due to their inability to write, was signed [by the priest alone].

Son of the legitimate spouses Wasilij (Basil) Gribko and Anna (née Łapko), peasants, born on the 19th day of the current month in the village of Czarna (Chornaye).
The godparents were Grigorij (Jerzy/George) Łapko, a peasant, and Teresa Szwacko, a wife of Józef.
