About me

Every family has a story. I help uncover it.

My name is Joanna Cytryniak. I have long been fascinated by genealogy as a way of discovering people, places, and stories that have often been forgotten for generations.

My journey began with my own family — both mine and my husband’s. I wanted to find answers to questions like: “Who were they?”, “Where did they come from?”, and “What was their legacy?” And so, step by step, I began discovering more and more of my ancestors.

I don’t just look for names. I look for the stories of the people who came before us.

Behind every name is a real person — their life, their choices, their relationships, and their place in the history of a family.

In my work, I combine thorough genealogical research with curiosity and respect for family histories. I search archives, parish and civil records, genealogical databases, documents, and other available sources to gradually reconstruct the lives of ancestors and connect generations.

Everyone has their roots. Let’s uncover them together.
